During a typical year, volunteers donate more than 5,000 hours running the library, cataloging books, hosting or working fund raising events, selling memberships, and making our services known to the community. Our volunteers also participate in planning for future enhancements to MEL. As always, we have volunteers who take a
regular shift at the library on a weekly basis... and volunteers who give of their time to special events and other projects.
