The Mérida English Library receives no government funding, and depends on memberships and donations to keep the doors open.

Membership Levels are:

• Family MX$500 per year

• Individual MX$400 per year

• Student/Teacher (for local public school students and teachers with current credentials) MX$150 per year*

MEL members agree to abide by all library policies.

Members also receive discounts to some of the library’s most popular events, like The Original MEL House & Garden Tour, the Santa Ana Art Gallery Tour, and our monthly Wine Tastings.

*MEL offers discounted memberships for local public school students and teachers. These memberships can not be purchased online, so please come to the library or email us to see if you qualify.
